Experienced Residential & Commercial Interior Designer

Ashleigh was born in Hong Kong, lived in Indonesia, South Africa and many other countries where, from a young age, she gained worldly experience. In 2006, Ashleigh settled in London, England and began her interior design career. Ashleigh's travels and interest in various cultures enables her to work with a diverse range of clients where the client’s personality/vision is always the driving force behind each interior design project.

After completing an interior design diploma at KLC School of Design in Chelsea, Ashleigh embarked on a five-year journey working with textiles company, Blithfield & Co, whilst at the same time, completing some of her first restaurant projects. Since then Ashleigh has worked at Steph Hill Designs and under Kit Kemp at Firmdale Hotels which have given her both residential and hospitality power-house experience.

With sustainability in mind, Ashleigh Young Designs is drawn to a narrative through textural & natural materials, however, the client and architecture itself is at the forefront of each project. AY Designs' love for craftsmanship, their keen eye for space planning, textiles, art and antique sourcing, places them in a unique position to draw out the client’s vision in order to create the perfect home or space.
